Welcome!  I’m a young professional working in the Washington DC area.  I’m passionate about investing and making the most of the savings I have.  My journey into investing/trading began not long ago and I continue to seek out new ideas and a better understanding of the markets.   I’ve developed some strategies along the way and decided to share those here.

There are many investing styles and needs.  Everyone should figure out for themselves what’s appropriate for their needs and temperament.  You should do your own research.  Don’t be lazy!  One of my rules is never to make an investing decision or trade based on what someone else is doing.  Period.  This can be difficult in the information age where ideas and arguments are constantly being thrown at you.  Why make this site then?  Well, my hope is it will give you some new ideas of what’s possible.  It also allows me to organize my research into one place.

Outside of investing, I love spending time outdoors (cycling, running, or hiking).  I’m training for my first marathon as I write this.  I also enjoy visiting family and friends in southern California where I grew up (especially during the winter when the weather is much nicer there than here).
